Stonefield Query Eliminates Business Reporting Bottlenecks
Lake Mary, Florida, August 10, 2010 — Stonefield
Software Inc. announces the latest release of its award winning software, Stonefield Query
Version 4.0. The new release of Stonefield Query is eliminating bottlenecks by creating a
self-service business reporting solution for the end-user.
Stonefield Software Inc. has found that in the business
world there are two types of users: casual users and power users. Casual users, which
typically make up 80% or more of the people in an organization, include executives,
managers, staff, and business analysts. Power users, making up less than 20%, these
include IT developers, super users, and analytical modelers.

reporting software because they understand database design, structures, relationships,
joins, and SQL commands. To the casual user, on the other hand, this is beyond their
technical ability. This is where the first point of frustration comes in: casual users

The latest version of Stonefield Query has seen over 70
enhancements. The addition of the new application view in Stonefield query 4.0, the first
of it’s kind in business reporting software, has made creating reports that much
simpler. Data is now presented in an environment that the end user is familiar with.
This along with other enhancements allows the casual users
the ability to create their own ad-hoc queries and reports, production reports, and
parameterized reports from scratch without needing to know anything about programming. It
has also been designed to work with virtually any database.
